<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underbone type motorcycle equipped with flat footrests formed to stretch in an anteroposterior direction, and capable of giving an occupant a comfortable riding feeling. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The motorcycle includes: a head pipe provided at a position away from a seat to a front side, and supporting a steering shaft; a vehicle body frame stretching through an upper side of the engine rearwards as well as obliquely downwards, and having a down tube reaching a down side of the seat; and a vehicle body cover stretching along the down tube, and covering the down tube from the upper side. The motorcycle further includes the flat footrests 40 formed to stretch in the anteroposterior direction. The part of the footrests 40 is arranged below the seat.
