<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging filling device capable of fully sterilizing weblike packaging material for food in a disinfection solution, and fully removing the residual disinfection solution therefrom to the extent that the residual disinfection solution does not exist therein. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The packaging filling device feeds the weblike packaging material to a disinfection bath, sterilizes the weblike packaging material in the disinfection solution in the disinfection bath, removes the residual disinfection solution from the weblike packaging material with a residue elimination means, forms the weblike packaging material into tubular packaging material and seals it longitudinally, fills the tubular packaging material with the food, laterally seals and cuts the tubular packaging material, and folds a preliminarily formed body obtained from the cut tubular packaging material so as to produce a container. In the packaging filling device, the residue elimination means consists of: a preliminary elimination means for removing the residual disinfection solution from the weblike packaging material conveyed upward; a pinching and squeezing elimination means for pinching the weblike packaging material and squeezing the residual disinfection solution therefrom when the weblike packaging material is turned from upward direction to the lateral direction; and a jet elimination means for jetting air into the weblike packaging material conveyed laterally so as to completely remove the residual disinfection solution therefrom.
