<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator core which improves vibration-damping effect, without deteriorating a dimensional accuracy in a supporting face, where a stator core is supported, in a stator core for a motor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The stator core 10 includes a stack 30 which is constituted by stacking a plurality of electromagnetic steel plates 20. The electromagnetic steel plate 20 includes an inner perimetrical face 21 and a peripheral face 22, and a part of the peripheral face 22 constitutes the supporting face 23. The supporting face 23 is a region for a housing to support the stack 30. Though an adhesive layer 40 includes a peripheral adhesive layer 42 formed on the peripheral face 22, the peripheral adhesive layer 42 is not formed on the supporting face 23.
