Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a thin film solar cell according to one embodiment of the present invention, wherein a film of a conductive material is formed on a substrate and then patterned so as to be separated and form a first electrode layer of each cell; a first photoelectric conversion layer is formed on the substrate which has been provided with the first electrode layer; a first groove of a first width is formed for the purpose of dividing the first photoelectric conversion layer into separate layers corresponding to the respective cells; a second photoelectric conversion layer is formed on the substrate which has been provided with the first photoelectric conversion layer; the second photoelectric conversion layer is divided by a second groove, which has a second width that is narrower than the first width, within the position where the first groove has been formed; and a second electrode layer is formed on the second photoelectric conversion layer and the lateral surfaces and bottom surfaces of the grooves.
