<p>The invention relates to a drive system (1) for operating an electric device. The drive system (1) comprises an electric motor (3) having a permanent magnet rotor (6) connectable to the electric device for controlling the operation of it by a limited-angle rotation, the electric motor (3) further comprising a stator winding (8). The drive system (1) further comprises a drive circuit ()2 connected to the stator winding (8). The drive system (1) is characterised in that the permanent magnet rotor ()6 is arranged to be aligned to a magnetic field created by the stator winding (8) when supplied with current from the drive circuit (2), so that a maximum torque is applied to the rotor (6) and thereby to the movable part within an interval of ±25 degrees around a middle position between two end positions of said limited-angle rotation of said rotor (6).</p> |
