A vehicle charging system which charges on-vehicle accumulation devices (10-1 to 10-3) is provided with a charger (42) constituted so as to be supplied with power from a power supply outside the vehicle for charging the accumulation devices, charging power detection parts (14-1 to 14-3, 16-1 to 16-3) which detect charging power to be supplied to the accumulation devices, and a charge control device (46) which controls the charger (42) by generating a power command value to the charger (42) on the basis of a target value. The charge control device detects a difference between the charging power detected by the charging power detection part and the target value and judges the presence/absence of abnormality occurrence in the charger (42) on the basis of the detected difference.
