<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure in correction, when correcting image quality under execution of image formation. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming system includes: a sensor for detecting a color or a density of a patch by receiving, by a photoreception part, a reflected light obtained by irradiating the patch on a recording paper sheet with a light from a light emitting part; a control part 101 for forming the prescribed color or density of patch on the recording paper sheet, and for correcting the image quality, based on a read result read by the sensor of the patch; an image quality correction part for correcting the image quality of an image by control from the control part; and an operation part for an operator to set a reference recording paper sheet defined as a reference. The control part 101 selects the reference recording paper sheet to form the patch on the reference recording paper sheet, and indicates the correction of image quality to the image quality correction part, based on a result about the patch on the reference recording paper sheet detected by the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
