<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content receiver, content transmitter, content distribution system, content receiving method, content transmitting method and content distribution method, capable of transmitting and receiving content with high quality and economically by the mutual complementing of broadcasting and communication. <P>SOLUTION: The content transmitter 10 broadcasts transmission data and broadcast data including first redundant data for error correction of the transmission data to a receiving terminal 5 through a broadcast radio wave transmitting station 2, and also transmits communication data including second redundant data for error correction to the receiving terminal 5 through a communication network 3 and a radio base station 4. The content receiver 50, when receiving quality of the broadcast data is higher than a reference value, uses the broadcast data, and reproduces transmission data whose error is corrected with the first redundant data. Meanwhile, when the receiving quality is equal to or lower than the reference value, the content receiver 50 uses the broadcast and communication data, and reproduces transmission data whose error is corrected with the first and second redundant data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
