<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel delivery system (208) including a base (300) configured to receive a fuel nozzle (216). <P>SOLUTION: The base includes a surface (426), a receptacle (604) extending in the base along a longitudinal axis (Z) from the surface, and a plurality of channels (616, 702, 708, 802, 808) extending into the base from the receptacle. Each of the plurality of channels includes an inlet end (618, 704, 710, 804, 810) and an outlet end (622, 706, 712, 806, 812), and intersects the receptacle at the outlet end.
