<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slidable sucking joint plate having a simple structure for improving workability without scattering materials in a working area when reliably fixing and holding a web by a uniform sucking force, and usable as required for work and storable while not interrupting other work when not required. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The slidable sucking joint plate includes: a joint plate body whose both ends are closed, and which is formed into a hollow pipe-shaped body, and has at least one linear slit which does not allow internal penetration and a plurality of adsorption holes 17 which allow internal penetration at a flat face in an extremely-face longitudinal direction; an exhaust means provided at one end of the pipe-shaped body and connected to a suction pump; and a sliding guide 14 having a sliding mechanism slidable at least in one direction while supporting the joint plate body at its tip.
