<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for specifying a region of a document to be image-processed using a simple hand-written mark. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A multifunction apparatus, when detects a predetermined hand-written process mark which indicates image processing from the image data of a document obtained by reading (S101) the document using a scanner part (S102→S103; Yes→S104; Yes), determines (S108) a specified region to be image-processed among a plurality of extraction regions based on a positional relationship (S107) between a plurality of regions (S106) extracted through layout analysis of the image data and the process mark.
