<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video transmission device and a video transmission method whose controls are simple, and shorten a time up to a video transmission. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This video transmission device has: a data storing section 11 which stores a plurality of video data corresponding to a plurality of channels, and can read it out successively; a plurality of reproduction units 1301 to 1340 which receive each video data corresponding to each of the plurality of channels, converts each into a visual signal, independently, and transmit the visual signal by an instruction of transmitting videos after a maximum delay time until each can obtain the visual signal as a turning point; and a channel changeover switch 12 which successively transfers the video data stored in the data storing section 11 to the plurality of reproduction units 1301 to 1340 for each channel.
