<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrophotographic toner, which allows easy manufacturing of a toner by recycling a fine powder with high productivity while keeping good dispersion of a pigment, wax, a charge control agent or the like without requiring an increase in the manufacture equipment, manufacturing processes and manufacturing time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a raw material mixing step of mixing a raw material containing a binder resin, a colorant, a release agent and a charge control agent; a melting step of melting the mixture obtained in the raw material mixing step by a melting device such as a biaxial extrusion kneading machine; a kneading step of kneading the melted material obtained in the melting step by an open-roll type kneading device such as a continuous double-roll mill; a pulverizing step of pulverizing the kneaded material obtained in the kneading step after cooling and solidifying; a classifying step of classifying the pulverized material obtained in the pulverizing step; and a step of supplying a fine powder having a size equal to or smaller than a regulated grain size generated in the classifying step, by use of a fine powder supplying device such as a screw feeder the supply port of which is positioned above the roll mill kneading device and in a downstream side along the feeding direction of the kneaded material.
