PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing a cavity in a metal casting in consideration of gas entrainment during the filling of a molten metal. SOLUTION: In the method for analyzing a cavity in a metal casting, the analysis of the filling of a molten metal is performed, the information of a gas obtained as the result of the analysis is also considered and is utilized for solidification analysis, and the analysis of a cavity is performed. In this way, the analysis of a cavity close to an actual casting process in consideration of gas entrainment during the filling of a molten metal can be performed. Further, from the time at which the filling of the molten metal is almost completed, by changing the inflow conditions of the molten metal from molten metal speed conditions to molten metal pressure conditions, the position of a cavity can be correctly predicted.
