CHANNEL SWITCHING METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM

The embodiments of the invention disclose a channel switching method, device and system. The method comprises: a network buffer device judges whether the buffered video stream which is speeded up pushing in unicast synchronizes with the video stream of the channel pushed to the client end by network node in multicast, and notifies the client end to send the request of joining the multicast group, so as to enable fast channel switching. The concurrent connection number and the channel switching efficiency of the client are improved by dynamically adjusting the speed of the video stream pushed in unicast. The deployment and operation cost of the IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) system are reduced. The method makes the channel switching solution involve universality and scalability, and enhances the degree of user experience.
