<p>The invention relates to the production of road building materials, in particular to an asphalt concrete mixture which can be used to repair airfield and road surfaces. The asphalt concrete mixture comprises a mineral filler and a petroleum asphalt-based binder, wherein sand from screenings obtained by crushing granite or gabbro-norite rock and natural sand are used as the mineral filler and the composition of the binder includes bitumen, petrol and/or diesel fuel and a divinyl styrene thermoplastic elastomer, in the following component ratio: 10-18 wt% natural sand; 4.5-7 wt% road bitumen; 1-5 wt% petrol and/or diesel fuel; 0.01-0.3 wt% divinyl styrene thermoplastic elastomer, with sand from screenings obtained by crushing granite or gabbro-norite rock making up the balance. The technical result is a material that exhibits good workability, good adhesion of the resultant covering to the substrate, an ultimate strength under compression (after heating) of not less than 0.5 MPa and the possibility of being applied at low temperatures (below 0°C) and without the need for undercoating compositions, as well as a reduction in the asphalt concrete mixture preparation temperature, the final temperature of the mixture at the outlet of the mixing unit being not greater than 40°C.</p> |
