PURPOSE: A falling rock prevention fence with improved impact absorption performance is provided to improve safety by absorbing the impact energy of falling rock not to get into a road. CONSTITUTION: A falling rock prevention fence with improved impact absorption performance comprises H-beam posts(110), a top wire rope(140), horizontal wire ropes(120), a shield net(130), impact absorption frames(150), other horizontal wire ropes, and an auxiliary shield net(170). The H-beam posts are vertically installed with the bottom buried under the ground. One end of the top wire rope is connected to the top of the H-beam post and the other is fixed on a slope. The horizontal wire ropes are installed at regular intervals between the H-beam posts. The shield net is installed between the H-beam posts. The impact absorption frames are connected to the H-beam posts and slid. The other horizontal wire ropes are installed between the impact absorption frames. The auxiliary shield net is installed between the impact absorption frames.
