<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording and reproducing apparatus capable of shortening the time from instruction request start till the execution of an instruction by reducing the number of times of data communication between a client and a component and communication volume and improving processing efficiency between components in a dependent relation. <P>SOLUTION: An information recording and reproducing apparatus includes components 13a-13d; a core 12 for managing the components; and a client 11 for combining and utilizing the components. The client 11 divides the components 13a-13d into groups and creates a group 15 with a group ID 22a as an identifier and issues a command to the core 12 while designating the group ID 22a. The core 12 holds group management information 22 including the group ID 22a and a list 22b of components included in a group 15, identifies the components 13a-13c included in the group 15 having the group ID 22a, and transmits the command to the components. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
