<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve energy saving while securing exposure for an a-Si photoreceptor drum in an exposure device that exposes an a-Si photoreceptor drum. <P>SOLUTION: The exposure device 7 exposes charge charged on a surface of the photoreceptor drum 3 having a photoconductive layer made of amorphous material principally composed of silicon to form an electrostatic latent image.
