<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a signal strength of an interference wave in a preamble part for each reception packet by estimating the signal strength of the interference wave in a plurality of frequency bands. <P>SOLUTION: After an interference wave of a band other than a desired wave is received, the interference wave is received while switching the band to an interference wave frequency band of any other band than the desired wave within the same reception symbol by a reception frequency band switching section, and an interference wave signal intensity is estimated in two frequency bands by an interference wave signal intensity estimating section. In the same desired wave frequency band symbol, the interference wave is received while switching the orders of interference frequency bands for a first half and a second half of the symbol. Even when a guard interval of the interference wave is received at any timing, because of the switching, the interference wave signal intensity in a plurality of frequency bands is estimated from a plurality of identical desired wave frequency band symbols. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
