<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device of a vehicle capable of normally and quickly restraining an occupant, regardless of lowering of a function of a vehicle operation device. <P>SOLUTION: This seat belt device includes a first restraining determination means 26 for determining that restraining is required when operation amount of a brake device 23 exceeds a determination threshold value, a second restraining determination means 27 for determining that restraining is required when an absolute value of vehicle acceleration exceeds a determination threshold value, a motor control means 28 for executing a control of a motor 10 when at least one of the restraining determination means 26 and 27 determines that restraining is required, a temperature sensor 25 for detecting the temperature of a brake pad and a temperature determination means 29 for determining the temperature. When the temperature determination means 29 determines a temperature rise, the determination threshold value of the first restraining determination means 26 is shifted to an upper side, while the determination threshold value of the second restraining determination means 27 is shifted to a lower side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
