<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for purifying sewage which hardly causes a drop of a contact member and a discrepancy of a position, and maintains a sewage purification power for a long period though the contact member can simply be fixed on a frame. <P>SOLUTION: In the apparatus for purifying the sewage, a plurality of contact members comprising a core material and a number of loop-like protrusions provided on the surface of the core material are fixed in a treatment tank. The core material is flexible, the contact member is wound around and fixed in such a manner that at least both ends straddle a fixing member provided in the treatment tank, and the fixing member has a number of projected parts on the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
