摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the lattice thermal conductivity of Bi<SB>2</SB>Te<SB>3</SB>drastically, and also to improve the strength to mechanical processing. SOLUTION: A thermoelectric material is configured by an alloy of at least one kind of element chosen from a group consisting of Bi and Sb and at least one kind of element chosen from a group consisting of Te and Se, and in which an atomic element is arranged to each surface of twenty one layers formed in a direction vertical to a c-axis in a unit cell.
