PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio apparatus for estimating a loop gain while suppressing power consumption. SOLUTION: The audio apparatus 1 uses a PN code being pseudo noise, to estimate a loop gain. The audio apparatus 1 changes intervals for generating the pseudo noise in accordance with the estimated loop gain to thereby change intervals for estimating a loop gain. The audio apparatus 1 has an acceleration detecting part 11 in a microphone MIC, wherein the movement of the microphone MIC is detected when the acceleration detecting part 11 detects an acceleration. When detecting the movement of the microphone MIC, the audio apparatus 1 narrows the interval for generating pseudo noise to reduce the interval for estimating the loop gain since the gain of an audio transmission system from a speaker SP to the microphone MIC changes.
