PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct embossing work without causing problems such as a film cut and a pitch gap on a bag-making machine. SOLUTION: The concave mold 10 has a depth C1 of 1.0 to 1.4 mm. When the concave mold 10 is engaged with the convex mold 20 without placing a film between the molds, the clearance (top clearance) between the top surface 22 of the convex mold 20 and the bottom surface 12 of the concave mold 10 is not more than 0.1 mm, the clearance per one side (summit difference) between the corner 24 on the top surface side of the convex mold 20 and the side surface 13 of the concave mold 10 is not more than 0.5 mm, and the clearance per one side (skirt difference) between the side surface 23 of the convex mold 20 and the corner 16 on the opening side of the concave mold 10 is not more than 0.4 mm.
