PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the edge surface of a cutter for cutting a thick sheet such as a design board is inclined when a worker puts muscle too much in cutting, so as to allow the cut surface of an object to be cut to be oblique, and that the edge of the cutter is easily broken when horizontal force is added. SOLUTION: The problems are solved by providing the following cutters. The rail line cutter 1a includes: a fixing base 2 having a grip 3 to pressurize the object D to be cut; a rail base 4 having a plurality of parallel rail parts 5 and abutting on the side surface of the fixing base 2 so as to pressurize the object D to be cut; and a slide part 7 to be slidable in the rail parts 5 of the rail base 4 and having a cutter knife 8. The rail line cutter 1b includes: the rail base 4 having the grip 3 to pressurize the object D to be cut and also the plurality of parallel rail parts 5; and the slide part 7 to be slidable in the rail parts 5 of the rail base 4 and having the cutter knife 8.
