AN ARRAY SUBSTRATE FOR IN-PLANE SWITCHING MODE LCD

PURPOSE: An array substrate for an in-plane switching mode LCD is provided to form an electrode and a line by a structure where barrier metal layers are laminated. CONSTITUTION: A gate line is formed in one direction with a fixed interval. A gate electrode(203) is projected from the gate line. A data line(215) perpendicularly crosses the gate line to define a pixel area. Source/drain electrodes(205) are protruded from the data line to correspond to the gate electrode. A pixel electrode(208) is formed in a pixel area contacting the drain electrode. A common electrode(222) is alternatively formed with the pixel electrode.
