PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing flavonoid compounds for preventing aging and wrinkle is provided to enhance anti-oxidation, protein synthesis, and collagen synthesis, and to suppress MMP-1(Matrix Metalloprotease-1). CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for anti-aging contains flavonoid compounds of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient. In chemical formula 1, R1, R2, and R3 are independently hydroxyl group, alkyl group of 1-4 carbon atoms, or alkoxy group of 1-4 carbon atoms. A cosmetic composition for anti-wrinkle contains 0.000001-15.0 weight% of flavonoid compounds of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient. The cosmetic composition is used in the form of solution, suspension, paste, gel, cream, lotion, powder, soap, oil, or spray. A make-up method for preventing anti-aging comprises a step of applying the cosmetic composition on human skin.
