PURPOSE: An automatic drain valve device is provided to prevent the installation height of a shower head of a shower device from being lowered by being installed in a vertical duct between a shower tap and a showerhead. CONSTITUTION: An automatic drain valve device comprises a valve body(11), a drain packing(12), a spring(13), and a drain cap(14). The drain packing is mounted on the mounting seat surface of a side flow path. The drained packing comprises a movable guide(12a) and a spring mounting projection(12b). The spring is mounted in the spring mounting projection. The drain cap comprises an airtight sheet surface and a spring mounting part.
