LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY OF FRINGE FIELD SWITCHING TYPE

摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display of a fringe field switching type is provided to effectively prevent a display dot due to boundary collapse between domains due to application of external pressure. CONSTITUTION: A TFT is connected to a gate line and a data line. To a pixel electrode(116) connected to the TFT, a data signal is provided. A common electrode(102) is formed in a plate shape to cover a pixel area. Domains are symmetrical based on a domain boundary area.
