<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily use a medical image stored in a portable storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: In a first medical image system 100 of a hospital A, an image server 30a stores, in a portable medium 40, medical image data transmitted from a modality 20a and order information transmitted from a hospital information management device 10a, both being correlated with each other. In a second medical image system 200 of a hospital B into which the portable medium 40 is carried, a hospital information management device 10b reads out the order information stored in the portable medium 40 and transmits the readout order information to an image server 30b.
