<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit which is low in level of a noise terminal voltage and is small-sized. <P>SOLUTION: This power unit includes a microcomputer 18 which detects the input current Iin, input voltage Vin, and output voltage Vo of an active filter 10 and controls an IGBT 13 to be ON or OFF so that the phases of the input current Iin and the input voltage Vin may accord with each other and that the output voltage Vo of the active filter may accord with the target voltage Vt, by lowering the target voltage Vt, according to the rise of the input current Iin.
