<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which is used in combination with a card receiving device for using the electronics and is capable of preventing a user from forgetting to collect a card after the end of a job, and to provide the card receiving device, and an image handling system. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic device includes: a connection means 16 for connecting a card receiving device 2 which outputs a card presence signal; a detection means 19 for detecting that a card is inserted into the card receiving device 2; notification means 17, 18; and a control means 10. If any operation of an operating key 14 is not received during a preset time after the end of a job, the control means 10 executes card insertion judgement processing for judging whether it is detected by the detection means 19 that the card is inserted into the card receiving device 2 and if it is judged that the detection means 19 detects that the card is inserted into the card receiving device 2 as a result of executing the card insertion judgement processing, the control means executes card insertion notifying processing and card ejection instructing processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
