PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device which is capable of eliminating the need of cleaning a transmission part transmitting the fact that a container is full of toner to a device side or drastically prolonging a cleaning period and excellent in operability for replacing a toner bag. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic device includes: a container 62 into which residual toner is recovered; a switch 37 which is provided in the container 62 and whose contact point is opened when the container 62 is full of toner; container-side coils 35 and 38 which are connected to the switch 37; two coils 32 and 40 which are provided on a container insertion port side; an oscillation circuit 31 which inputs an electrical signal to the coil 32; and a detection circuit 43 which detects a voltage applied to both ends of the coil 40 and is configured so that when the container 62 is not full of toner, the electrical signal inputted to the coil 32 is inputted to the coil 35 by mutual inductance and the electrical signal inputted to the coil 35 is inputted to the coil 40 by the mutual inductance, to detect that the container 62 is full.
