PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a blade for a wind turbine generator, providing an efficient and inexpensive wind turbine generator. SOLUTION: The blade 4 for a wind turbine generator is rotated around a vertical shaft 2 by wind power, and is disposed to be separated from the vertical shaft 2 with a predetermined space, through a support 3. The blade 4 for a wind turbine generator includes a streamlined aerofoil, is formed to have a blade thickness ratio ranging from 25% or higher to 40% or lower, and is rotated to make the generator 5 installed to the vertical shaft 2 generate power.
