摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time up to the start of recording by determining an optimum ink temperature control condition on the basis of an analysis result of job information transmitted from a host device in an image recording apparatus and an ink temperature control method of the image recording apparatus. SOLUTION: In the image recording apparatus, at least one recording unit with at least one nozzle array formed by a plurality of nozzles is prepared, and recording is carried out to a recording medium by ejecting an ink from the nozzles on the basis of the job information including recording data transmitted from the host device. The image recording apparatus includes an ink temperature detecting part which detects an ink temperature, at least one ink circulating unit which at least circulates the ink between the unit and ink chambers that respectively communicate with the plurality of nozzles, and an ink temperature control part which adjusts the ink temperature. The ink temperature control part adjusts the ink temperature on the basis of the analysis result of the job information and ink temperature information of the ink temperature detecting part.
