PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an extruded material which shortens the length of the discarding margin of the extruded material as much as possible and accordingly improves yield of a product obtainable from the extruded material. SOLUTION: The extruded material 31 is chucked at a chuck part 3 of a puller 1 while the extruded material 31 pushed out from an extruding machine 10 is extruded from the extruded machine 10, and the extruded material 31 is pulled in an extruding direction E by the puller 1.
