PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover phosphorus from the incineration ash of organic materials containing phosphorus such as livestock excrement and the like. SOLUTION: The incineration ash of livestock excrement and the like is added into the solution of a weak acid such as citric acid and the like, mixed and then a phosphorus-containing compound is deposited by adding the solution of an alkali such as NaOH and the like after removing solid components. In another way, the incineration ash is added into the solution of a weak or strong acid, mixed and then a phosphorus component is eluted from a carrier by being in contact with the carrier carried with a zirconium compound and the like and by adsorbing the phosphorus component after removing solid components.
