PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent pouch not significantly reducing strength with time. SOLUTION: The multi-compartment detergent pouch has walls comprising a water-soluble or water-dispersible water-containing polymer film. The pouch has at least one compartment containing a liquid composition and at least one compartment containing a hygroscopic powder composition. The liquid composition includes a moisture regulator system so that a water content of the film at equilibrium of 40% relative humidity and 21.1°C (70°F) is within 30% of that of a raw material film. The moisture regulator system includes a 2-6C monoalkylene polyol or a mixture thereof, and polyalkylene glycol, glycol ether, glycol ester, or a mixture thereof with a weight ratio of 1/3 to 1/20.
