PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which enables a position of a metal anchor such as a screw, driven into a metal stud, to be checked without the separation of a facing material after construction of a partition wall. SOLUTION: Characteristically, this method for checking a position of an anchor includes: a stud position checking step of checking a position of the stud, vertically embedded in a structure, by a detection sensor; a data acquiring step of acquiring a moving distance of a measurement sensor and a numeric value of response of the measurement sensor as measurement data by moving (sliding) the measurement sensor responding to a metal in the structure, while maintaining a constant interval from a surface of a wall; a data conversion step of diagrammatizing (graphing) the moving distance of the measurement sensor and the numeric value of the response of the measurement sensor, included in the acquired measurement data, by associating them with each other; and an output step of outputting the diagrammatized (graphed) result of measurement.
