A screw-socket comprises a cylindrical cage 24 receiving a cylindrical nut body 21 with clearance and provided with heads 25, 26 at opposite ends. Head 25 is circular and head 26 non-circular and formed with at least one radial recess 32 receiving with clearance a projection 23 on body 21. The body can move slightly in the cage which is closed by a plate 28 secured e.g. by brazing or welding. In use, the body is drawn against a shoulder 33 adjacent head 25. The socket is embedded in a mass of synthetic resin 16 in a hole in a cellular panel A. |
