The handle (1) has left and right telescopic rods (4, 5) fixable together by a pinion (9), a toothed rack (11) and a locking element (12). The pinion, rack and locking element are movable from a blocking position in which inner and outer tubes (6, 7) of the rods are fixed together into a release position in which the rods are extracted or inserted and vice versa by a push button (18). The pinion is rotatable around a rotational axis (10) that is arranged at the inner tube, and the toothed rack is arranged at the outer tube and is engaged with the pinion.
