REPLACEMENT APPARATUS FOR A MODERATOR PUMP MECHANICAL SEAL

PURPOSE: A replacement apparatus for a moderator pump mechanical seal is provided to enhance work efficiency by minimizing the exposure to radiation caused by basking in radiation and the reduction in the maintenance time of the pump sealing device. CONSTITUTION: A rotary unit(2) is installed on one side in the upper part of a base unit(1). A clamp unit(3) is installed in the upper part of the base unit. The clamp unit controls the rotation of the rotary unit. A column unit(4) is installed in the upper part of the rotary unit. A gear box(5) is inserted into a column unit. A holder and a boom unit(6) are installed in the gear box. The boom unit comprises a balance weight(8).
