PURPOSE: A pillar structure of a construction is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by not employing a steel pillar and enable easy assembly and mass production. CONSTITUTION: A pillar structure of a construction comprises a square pillar, a coupling member, a cover member(30), an upper connecting member(40), a lower fixing member, and a coupling rod. The square pillar is formed out of timber, having a through hole and a bent part. The coupling member is connected to the bent part. The cover member is connected to the coupling member. The upper connecting member and the lower fixing member are connected to the top and bottom of the square pillar, respectively. The coupling rod joins the upper connecting member, the lower fixing member, and the square pillar.
