<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of supplying a sufficient amount of water to a hot water/water utilization place even in a case when the water is heated only by a heat exchanger without utilizing a heat source machine. <P>SOLUTION: This water heater 10 includes a guide pathway 81, a heat storage tank 22, a third heat exchanger 92, a burner heating device 90, a first bypass water pathway 89, a distribution valve 96, and a second bypass water pathway 97. The second bypass water pathway 97 is disposed to bypass the distribution valve 96 disposed in the guide pathway 81. The water in the guide pathway 81 flowing downstream with respect to the distribution valve 96 can be increased by disposing the second bypass water pathway 97, even when the water in the guide pathway flowing through the distribution valve 96 by the distribution valve 96 is decreased. Thus the amount of water heated by the third heat exchanger 92 can be increased, and the sufficient amount of water can be supplied to the hot water/water utilization place 100 even when the water is heated only by the third heat exchanger 92. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
