PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small centrifugal pump device in which an impeller can be smoothly started and rotated. SOLUTION: This centrifugal blood pump device includes an impeller 10 disposed in a blood chamber 7, a permanent magnet 15 disposed on one surface of the impeller 10, a permanent magnet 16 disposed in an inner wall of the blood chamber 7, a permanent magnet 17 disposed on another surface of the impeller 10, and a magnetic body 18 and a coil 20 disposed in a motor chamber 8 and rotationally driving the impeller 10 through a bulkhead 6. Dynamic pressure grooves 21, 22 are formed on a bulkhead 6 opposing to the impeller 10 and the inner wall of the blood chamber 7.
