<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a through-current between power sources of input/output parts resulting from an unfixed state of an internal circuit in power application when power is applied to an IC with two power supplies, etc, thereby contributing to stabilization of operations of the IC. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a power supply device, first output voltage VOUT1 is generated and output first based on input voltage VIN, and after stabilization of the output, second output voltage VOUT2 higher than the first output voltage VOUT is output. A series regulator 1 generates and outputs the first output voltage VOUT1 based on the input voltage VIN. A power switch 2 is turned on by an output voltage detection signal S1 from an output voltage detection circuit 3, and outputs the input voltage VIN as the second output voltage VOUT2 at this time. The output voltage detection circuit 3 detects the first output voltage VOUT1 to be output by the series regulator 1, generates an output voltage detection signal S1 when the detected voltage becomes a predetermined value and thus, turns the power switch 2 on.
