PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when a channel between transmission and reception is presumed by primary interpolation in a conventional radio communication system, an presumption error is large. SOLUTION: This radio communication system includes a transmission device 1 and a reception device 2. The transmission device 1 includes a pilot signal preamble signal attachment part 101 for attaching a pilot symbol used for the reception channel 2 to presume a channel and a known preamble symbol to transmission data, and a pilot position control part 117. The reception device 2 includes a pilot signal arrangement optimum control part 112 for presuming the arrangement position of the pilot symbol to optimize the presumption result of the channel from the preamble symbol, and a transmission antenna 114 for channel information for transmitting the information of the estimated optimum arrangement position of the pilot symbol to the transmission device. The pilot position control part 117 changes the arrangement position of the pilot symbol to be attached in accordance with the information of the optimum arrangement position.
