Provided are a method for converting a system model, a computer program, and a system model conversion device that facilitate analysis and edit of the system model by using information representing a hierarchical relationship. A model conversion device (1) has a graph format data structure and includes a graph model storage unit (2) for storing a graph model (20) that is a system model comprising a plurality of model elements.  A process description input unit (6) receives an input of a conversion process description including a description on a multi-dimensional data model structure and an extraction query for extracting the model elements.  Based on the input conversion process description, a data conversion unit (4) generates, from the graph model (20) stored in the graph model storage unit (2), a table (32) for multi-dimensional data model in which the dimensions have a hierarchical relationship.
