The seal comprises four shanks (11-14) resting against the housing wall and the block wall such that two angle areas are enclosed by one of the shanks resting against the housing wall and the other shanks resting against the block wall. The angle areas are subjected with a working medium, so that the shanks are pressed by the working medium against the block wall and/or the housing wall.
